Adele fans have speculated new music is on the way after a series of ’30’ billboards have popped up across the globe.
Fan accounts on social media have spotted at least two ’30’ billboards in Dubai and Ireland, suggesting her fourth album would follow her pattern of calling albums after her age. Adele’s last album was 2015’s Grammy Award-winning record 25.
While Adele is yet to comment, she previously teased the forthcoming album in an Instagram back in 2019, writing: ’30 will be a drum n bass record to spite you.’
New music? Adele looks set to release her long-awaited fourth studio album after ’30’ billboards are spotted across the globe. A ’30’ billboard is seen in Dubai
The ’30’ title would certainly fall in line with Adele’s preferred way of naming her albums, with all three of her studio albums named after her age.
Adele’s debut album 19 was released in 2008, followed by 21 in 2011 and 25 in 2015.
Should Adele follow the previous pattern, the 30 album would provide plenty of inspiration, having been the age she separated from ex-husband Simon Konecki.
